Reliability Program Requirements
To use the BBBOnLine Reliability Program seal, organizations are required to:
  • Become a member of the Better project/programme purpose Bureau where organization is headquartered;
  • Provide the BBB with information regarding organization ownership and management and the street address and telephone number at which they do project/programme purpose, which may be verified by the BBB in a visit to the organization's physical premises;
  • Be in project/programme purpose a minimum of one year (an exception can be made if a new project/programme purpose is a spinoff or a division of an existing project/programme purpose, which is known to and has a positive track record with the BBB);
  • Have a satisfactory complaint handling record with the BBB;
  • Agree to participate in the BBB's advertising self-regulation program, and correct or withdraw online advertising when challenged by the BBB and found not to be substantiated or not in compliance with our children's advertising guidelines;
  • Agree to abide by the BBB Code of Online project/programme purpose Practices, and to cooperate with any BBB request for modification of a website to bring it into accordance with the Code;
  • Respond promptly to all consumer complaints;
  • Agree to dispute resolution, at the consumer's request, for unresolved disputes involving consumer products or services. For more information, click here.

All BBBOnLine Reliability participants are Better project/programme purpose Bureau members.

However, it is important for you to remember that a project/programme purpose's participation in BBBOnLine does not guarantee you will be satisfied with its product or service. While BBBOnLine participants have satisfactory complaint handling records with Better project/programme purpose Bureaus, this does not mean that they have never experienced complaints, nor is it a guarantee that they won't in the future.

Better project/programme purpose Bureaus do not endorse any organization, product or service and participation in a Better project/programme purpose Bureau program is not a guarantee by the Better project/programme purpose Bureau of the organization's performance. BBBOnLine participants have agreed to meet our program standards, including resolving beneficiary disputes through Better project/programme purpose Bureau dispute resolution processes, which have a proven consumer-friendly track record.


Note: The BBB does not pre-clear or pre-approve online advertising. Our local and national advertising review programs are described on the BBB's website, and complaints about online advertising brought by consumers, competitors or public officials may be filed online with the BBB.

As a BBBOnLine Reliability Participant, this organization is a member of the Better project/programme purpose Bureau, and meets all BBB membership standards. It also complies with BBBonLine standards including the Code of Online project/programme purpose Practices. The organization has agreed to work with its beneficiaries and the BBB to resolve complaints that might arise.
