The Strong® High School Career Test Online

New! 2004 Revised Test and Report

To help students decide on a career

This report is designed specifically to help high school students decide what to do next. Go to college? Summer job? Full-time work? Learn about the options that fit you best. If you decide on college, what should your major be? The report includes information about which work environments would likely be attractive to you. For example, is government work, health care, or construction a better fit? This 23-page report will give you answers to those questions and more. Take a look at the sample report here. Consider taking one of the test packages to get a better value and more information.

More than just jobs

You will also learn about your preferred work style, learning environment, your leadership style and risk taking/adproject/program score. The last factor is important in deciding how to approach your career search or change. Are you someone who wants to balance working alone with working with others? How about hands-on learning versus traditional classroom learning? Do you like to plan or just "wing it"? Here's a way to find out what's better for you. You can use this information to help pick a best fit among the options available.

Should you go to college?

This test can help answer that question and suggest college majors for you. You might go to junior college or a 4-year university. Or you might enjoy and work well in an occupation centered around vocational training. The Strong® report will list career fields that interest you. Some require more training than others. Likewise, you'll get suggestions for work-study programs that could lead to full-time employment or further training. Read the sample report for more suggestions.

Put together your career puzzle

Your report includes a worksheet to help summarize what you learn about yourself, identify career opportunities, gather career and educational information, then put it all together in a plan that makes sense for you.

Free phone consultation included

You will receive a phone consultation along with your report. You can ask questions, get in-depth explanations for any confusing issues, or just learn more about what your results mean for you. Talk to an expert about your report.
