Country Director
S/he manages the Country Programme Manager
and is managed by the Regional (comprising different countries) Director
(In smaller programmes the roles of the Country Director and the Country Programme Manager are combined in the same person.)
S/he manages the:
She complies with the role expectations of Country Director
i.e. Monitor, evaluate and re-plan the country programme so as to strengthen programme efficiency, efficacy and impact through improved synergy and mutual subsidiarity among programmes, projects and support services and system.
For which the principles responsibilities are:
Ensuring that the Country team adheres to and follows Oxfam policies and procedures,
Ensure that the Country team is empowered and motivated to act in the spirit of Oxfam ways of working,
Manage Fund raising and donor contracts,
Manage relationship with partners and other Country Programme Stakeholders.
Supervise the Country Financial Management.
Representation of Oxfam through communication and networking with external stakeholders

Programme Management plan that will include Programme governance; Projects Integration; the procedures for internal/external evaluation

4. Monitors SL programme progress and works with the SL programme manager to keep the SL programme on track
5. Works with the SL programme manager and executive sponsor to resolve issues quickly
6. Ensures a good working relationship continues with all other OIT groups
A good degree of competence is required in all the the 9 topic areas of project management knowledge.
Specific competence is required in Integration, Scope, Quality , Communication and Risk mamagememt
